SAM HOUSTON RACE PARK WELCOMES BACK ZIEGENBOCK MUSIC FESTIVAL FOR 15TH CONSECUTIVE YEAR!
Headlining This Year’s Performances Will Be Aaron Lewis and Josh Abbott Band, With Special Guests Whiskey Myers, Blackberry Smoke, + Many Others!
Sam Houston Race Park (www.shrp.com) is pleased to announce the return of the 15th Annual ZiegenBock Music Festival on October 14th, 2017! Gates will open at 11am with the first performances kicking off at 11:30am!
Former front man for the rock band Staind, Aaron Lewis, headlines the event as he continues his solo career in country music. Lewis will be performing hit singles such as “That Ain’t Country”, and “Pledge of Allegiance/Country Boy.” Also headlining this year’s ZiegenBock Music Fest will be Texas’ own Josh Abbott Band performing hit singles such as “Oh, Tonight”, “My Texas”, and “I’ll Sing About Mine.”
Other artists joining Lewis and Josh Abbott Band will be American southern rock band Whiskey Myers, performing their hit songs “Ballad of a Southern Man”, “Broken Window Serenade”, and “Kyle Hope.” Southern country rock band Blackberry Smoke, performing their classic singles such as “Pretty Little Lie”, “Living in the Song”, and “Ain’t Much Left of Me.” Additionally, the up and coming duo from Texas, Jamestown Revival, is set to make their ZiegenBock debut!
This year’s lineup also features a once in a lifetime chance to see Shooter Jennings and Lukas Nelson & Promise Of The Real, the sons of hall of fame country artists Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson, take the ZiegenBock stage in back to back performances!

Early Bird Tickets go on sale Friday, July 7th at 10am and continue through Friday, July 14th at 9:59am! Ticket prices are set at $24.50 for Early Bird General Admission, $125 for Early Bird VIP, and $99 for Early Bird RV (Purchasers must still buy a GA ticket in addition to RV spot to gain admittance into festival).
