HOUSTON, TX (September 1st, 2017)— Amid the devastation caused to the greater Houston area, as well as the entire Texas coast, Sam Houston Race Park (www.shrp.com) has decided to cancel this years’ CCA Texas Concert for Conservation planned for September 9th.
It is at this time we feel as if there are more important points of focus in the lives and minds of Houstonians and all of those affected by this tragic event. We also would like to take this time to thank our first responders and give appreciation to all of those who are helping, donating, and caring for their neighbors in a time of need. It is because of the courage and resilience of our community and it’s citizens that we are confident that Houston will rebound strongly.
